The primary role of our Automotive Mechanic is to inspect, diagnose and repair cars and light trucks.Pay$75,000-$110,000/yrBenefitsPaid TrainingPaid HolidaysPTO/VacationEmployee Discounts401(k) Retirement PlanLife and AD&D InsuranceEmployee Referral BonusShort/Long-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending AccountsEmployee Assistance ProgramEducational Assistance ProgramMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceExclusive Employee Discount ProgramGeneral DescriptionUnder the direct supervision of the Store Manager, intakes service tickets to repair, monitor and service all vehicles that come into the store.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupports Sr Technicians in diagnosticsThoroughly inspect vehicles for necessary repairs and regular maintenanceCompletes brake alignments, maintenance, timing belts, struts, fluid changes, coolant flushes and other service/maintenance related tasksUtilize computer-based applications for automotive related informationCompetently and clearly communicate information to Service ManagerMaintain a safe and clean work environmentInstall new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctlyEducating the client on how to use and maintain their devicePerform maintenance and provide customer supportDiagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair themOrder parts needed for repairs if neededFill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performedExplain issues with equipment and repairs to customersBuild and maintain relationships with customersQualificationsASE Certified A1 - A8Minimum of 4 years of full-time auto repair and diagnosisDriving record that is acceptable for our insuranceKnowledge of Domestic and ImportsWork DaysNormal work days are Monday through Friday.
