Industry: Aerospace/DefensePosition: Source Inspector Location: Woodstock, NYFrequency: 2 visits a month / 4 hrs eachEstimated Duration End Date: 5/26/2025Job Description:Verifies completed product to purchase order, drawing and associated specifications. Ability to adequately inspect Aerospace level mechanical components and assemblies including welded and machined parts for compliance with industry and Customer specifications. Knowledge of standard inspection tools to include CMMs is required. Previous machine shop experience, final inspections and Aerospace products. Inspect IAW drawing and purchase order requirements paying attention to industry standards, First Article Inspection Report documentation verification and sign when required.Skills Requirement:Attention to DetailStrong communication skillsIn process and Final InspectionOrganized Able to operate computersRequirements:5+ Years experience in Aerospace Production ManagementMust be a US Citizen5+ years’ experience in FAI and AS9102Certification(s): IPC/J-STDSpecial Knowledge: MIL-SPEC, MIL-STDSpecial Description: CARC paintWill be working as an independent contractor (1099)Must have LLC/DBA or able to obtain an LLC/DBA
