Focus on specifying and installing support equipment for machinery, including bridge cranes and ductwork. Utilize AutoCAD 2D for design tasks. Support maintenance engineering and shutdown projects. Lead projects from design to installation, including specifying, evaluating, and installing new equipment. Engage in hands-on engineering during equipment installations. Consider industrial ventilation principles when managing machine installation projects. Troubleshoot mechanical issues with new equipment, such as hydraulic leaks and damaged hardware. Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Rittman, Ohio. Work Environment Design work is performed in an air-conditioned office. However, candidates will regularly work on the shop floor during equipment installations and specifications. The manufacturing floor is a castings environment, which is hot and dirty, so candidates should be aware of these conditions.
