Every day we are stitching something unique. We are currently accepting applications for: Job Title: Fashion Trainee Reports to: Tara Lynn Scheidet Head Designer/ Owner Hours and Location: Part-time in house 16/hrs week Tuesday-Friday, Sutton, VT Job Responsibilities To work side by side with Head Designer and complete tasks as requested Production Development Assistance Pattern Making Assistance Creative Development Assistance Seamstress Assistance Production of artwork Assistance Vital Contributions Provides support to Head Designer to free her from routine tasks Works closely with designer to create specs and production procedures Works closely with designer on creative design and development Works closely with designer creating appliqu, beading, hand sewing, embroidery Works closely with designer assisting with sewing production Upload information for clients for approval on content management website Required Skills, Education and Certifications Love of Sewing Experience sewing and cutting Other Skills and Abilities Desired Creative, Productive, Passionate, Team Spirit Organized, Detail oriented Loves to be challenged Applicant must be an enthusiastic team member willing to work up and beyond when necessary. Willingness and talent to learn new skills--a must. Pay Range: $14/hour, this trainee position is an opportunity to learn the trade and art of clothing design and development and to grow with Tara Lynn, LLC.
