Job Posting: BuyerSchedule: M-F 8am to 5pm Hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)Location: Urbana, OHPay Rate: $28/hrPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled and motivated Buyer with 2+ years of experience to join our team. This hybrid role requires a balance of in-office and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring close collaboration with our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in purchasing, with experience in evaluating vendor quotes, negotiating terms, and managing procurement processes.Key Responsibilities:Purchase and negotiate materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.Evaluate vendor quotes and services to identify the most desirable suppliers.Collaborate with team members to ensure procurement needs are met effectively.Utilize experience and judgment to plan and accomplish procurement goals.Perform a variety of tasks that require creativity and a high level of problem-solving.Report to an executive or manager as needed.Top 3 Must-Have Skills:2+ Years Buying Experience: Experience in procurement, preferably within the Aerospace industry, but other sectors are also considered.Experience with SAP: Proficiency in using SAP for procurement and inventory management.Ability to Work Within a Team Environment: Collaborative skills to work effectively with team members.Pay Details: $28.00 per hourSearch managed by: Riley Grubbs Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
