LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a company in the Farmingdale, NY area to hire an Accounts Receivable ClerkAs an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various tasks such as billing, payment posting, managing the aging, and assisting with light collections. Responsibilities: Create and issue invoices to customers accurately and in a timely manner. Apply payments received to customer accounts and process credit memos. Prepare account statements for customers to ensure transparency and clarity. Follow up on outstanding payments, resolve customer queries, and provide excellent customer service. Manage account balances and reconcile inconsistencies to maintain accurate financial records. Qualifications: 1-2 year Account Receivable experience High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks performed. Quick learner with a positive attitude towards new challenges. Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Proactive approach to anticipating work needs and interacting professionally with customers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Quickbooks. (can be trained on pivots, vlookups) Familiarity with general accounting standards. Pay- $22-24hr depending on experience.
