Job Posting Title Assistant Vice President, Strategic Sourcing - REMOTE Job Description The Assistant Vice President, Strategic Sourcing will lead and develop the strategic sourcing, contracting management, and procurement teams, will influence business partners in a fast-paced and matrixed environment for optimal business outcomes, assess and implement appropriate contracting tools and software, and execute a sourcing and vendor consolidation strategy to manage supplier spend for all corporate and operations contracting, including IT hardware & software, pharmaceuticals, and pharmacy supplies. Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the transformation and optimization of strategic sourcing, contracting, and procurement through process improvements that drive efficiency and reduce friction Implement a long-term vendor consolidation to meet the needs of our evolving business, align to operational and strategic goals, and optimize vendor value and spend, with a focus on cost reduction Through collaboration with key stakeholders, explore, assess and implement contracting enhancement tools to include contracting repository, progress tracking and dashboarding capabilities, contract abstracting, manage pricing evaluations, and predictive workloads and workload balancing Partner with stakeholders in vendor management, vendor performance, finance, legal, and operations to execute automated solutions and integrations between key business areas (inputs/outputs), and partner with business areas for ongoing enterprise vendor strategies Direct and collaborate with enterprise-wide vendor risk management program and report program outcomes to various committees and vendor board while striving towards ongoing efficiencies and improvements Partner with Legal to ensure comprehensive contract templates are in place; direct the development and ensure execution of consistent standards, controls, policies, procedures and performance metrics Develop and foster a culture of continuous improvement, working with direct reports to provide guidance and direction on process and system improvements to support future growth Manage department budget, staffing, performance, and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime's leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in sourcing, accounting, finance, economics, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required 12 years of progressive work experience leading/managing diverse teams across sourcing, finance, systems management, etc. 8 years of leadership/people management experience Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship Additional Qualifications Strong understanding of contracting management practice and tools Experience assessing, developing future state recommendations and implementing ERP and reporting systems Ability to establish rapport, build relationships, and collaborate effectively across departments and at all levels within the organization. Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to lead and drive change Proven experience inspiring cross-functional teams to meet business objectives with outstanding results Excellent facilitation, presentation, and consultative skills; demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications to both technical and non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in business or related area of study Broad experience across contracting management tools such as Cobblestone, DocuSign, Salesforce, etc. Minimum Physical Job Requirements Ability to travel up to 20% of time Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear Frequently required to reach with hands and arms Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Reporting Structure Reports to Vice President of Real Estate, Facilities and Strategic Sourcing, in the Finance organization Potential pay for this position ranges from $165,600.00 - $264,400.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
