Details: --> We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager to join a leading Company located in the Washington, DC surrounding area.Salary: $75,000 - $80,000The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the properties. This role involves assisting with tenant relations, property maintenance, lease administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.Job Responsibilities: Tenant Relations:Serve as a point of contact for tenants, addressing inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests in a timely manner.Assist in conducting move-in and move-out inspections, ensuring properties are prepared for new tenants and that departing tenants meet all obligations.Property Maintenance:Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely resolution of maintenance and repair issues.Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance needs and safety concerns.Construction Management and repairs - working with engineers.Lease Administration:Assist with the preparation and processing of lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leases, rent payments, and tenant information.Financial Management:Help in monitoring and tracking property budgets, expenses, and financial performance.Assist in preparing reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and financial voicing and Utility Bill pliance and Reporting:Ensure properties comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.Customer Service:Provide exceptional service to tenants and prospective tenants, fostering a positive community environment.Address tenant concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.Administrative Support:Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence.Support the Property Manager with various projects and initiatives as needed.Basic Hiring Criteria:High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or higher in Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.Previous experience in property management or a related role is highly desirable.Knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Basic understanding of building systems and maintenance procedures.
