AssemblerScope: Precision assembly of bearing components into finished bearing assemblies for Commercial, Super Precision, and Aerospace applications. This is a second shift position, with regular work hours of 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.Required SkillsAbility to read, interpret, and apply precise and complex technical work instructionsBlue Print readingPC skillsMechanical trouble shooting and problem solvingAttention to detailFlexibilityAssembly experienceStrong work ethicWillingness to work second shiftResponsibilitiesFollow work instructions / training documents specific to each assembly, inspection, and packaging operations.Obtain, read, and use appropriate blueprints for product.Verify all parts and components matchorder and part numbers forassembly.Set up assembly and/or packaging machinery per specific work instructions and training documents.Perform ring washing operations per specific work instructions and training documents (if applicable).Perform assembly of bearings per specific work instructions and training documents.Perform quality inspections per work instructions and training documents.Perform packaging operations for bearing assemblies per work instructions and training documents.Laser mark bearings per training pleteall required documentation.Customer Focus - Applyclear understanding ofcustomer (internal and external) technical requirements for each order. Assure conformance of all products and assemblies to requirements.Team Participation - Collaboratewith a variety of plant teams focused on continuous improvement. Occasionally serve as facilitator of such teams. Regularly rotate to other tasks and assist team members in meeting Team Metrics.Training - Continuously develop and upgrade training materials used to train other Assemblers, and occasionally assist in training. Requires continuous self-development of skills and business knowledge and the exercise of both.Safety - Requires daily participationin individual and team safety responsibilities such as departmental inspections, maintaining good housekeeping, and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).Continuous Improvement - Generate and implement ideas for quality improvements and cost savings.
