System Administrator Shift Level 1 (night floater position)woodcons.com"‹This is a NIGHTS only position, 7 pm - 5 am, Monday - Thursday, with other shifts required if coworkers call-out, in a 24x7 capacity to support the desk when required.Security Clearance Requirements:This position requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance with an appropriate PolygraphProvide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.Provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, etc.Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems.Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning.Required Education & Years of ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required and five (5) years' experience as a SA . Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree. Required Certification (possess and maintain one of the following within 180 days of being accepted on contract)Microsoft Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation; Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP); CompTIA Linux+; Linux Professional Institute (LPIC) level 1 or higher; Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification; or any such equivalent approved by CORT.WOOD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
