We’re Hiring!We have an immediate need for two Full-Time Day-Shift Maintenance Technician at Ohio Steel Industries’ Structural Steel facility located at 13792 Broad St SW, Pataskala, OH 43073.You are the key to ensuring all our equipment runs safely and smoothly. This includes, but is not limited to overhead electric traveling cranes, industrial saw (not CNC), and plasma cutter. Strong electrical knowledge, up to 480v, is required. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Performing preventative and routine maintenance on all equipmentTroubleshooting equipment issues and making necessary repairsMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activitiesAssisting with training and support of production staff on the operation of equipment, maintenanceCollaborating with other maintenance techs to optimize equipment operations and minimize downtimeThe schedule is currently 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Friday. Scheduled and incidental overtime may be required based on business needs. What We OfferWe offer a competitive base pay, starting at $25 per hour, that’s paid weekly. In addition, our commitment to you includes ensuring a safe working environment and rewarding our employees for their efforts through profit sharing.RequirementsMinimum of high school diploma or GED is required; two years of vocational/technical school electronics program is preferred. Additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of formal education.Demonstrated success in industrial equipment maintenance, as typically acquired by a minimum 2 years of relevant experience is required.Strong knowledge of electrical (up to 480v) and overhead electric traveling cranes is requiredAble to read and understand schematics and manualsUnwavering commitment to safetyIn addition, this position requires heavy work to include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, bending, reaching, grasping objects, and ability to see distance, up close, and in color.
