And, through our network of 70 offices spanning five continents, PRG is capable of delivering for its customers anywhere on the globe.A Scenic Project Coordinator has responsibility for the oversight and direction of Scenic Technologies project's scope, budget and schedule through the shop from project award through delivery of show elements. The work also may involve responsibility for the bid phase of potential projects. This title differs from Project Manager in that the Project Manager has overall responsibility for projects and the Project Coordinator is responsible for the support of the Project Manager. Day-to-day duties may overlap between the two positions. It is the policy of PRG to provide excellent customer service both internally and externally. Employees are expected to perform all of their duties and responsibilities in accordance with this policy at all times. Does related work as required.Participates or assist in client presentations;Assist in preparation of scope of work, including budget creation, project schedule development, material sourcing, concept designs and layout.Consult with and troubleshoot client's unresolved aesthetic design and technology issues;Provide a reasonable balance between the client's creative needs and the company's budget;Assist in generation of quotes and interface with financial operations to facilitate client billing;Execute on-site production as supervisor on selected projects and may be asked to assist others on venue surveys;Interface with operations department to ensure all design and quality goals are met;Investigate all safety and reliability concerns;Communicate as assigned relative to project status and performance;Inventories, monitors and assures quality control of rental and sales assets;Assist in bidding and pricing sales and rentalArrange and facilitate shipping and transportation of rental and sales items.Coordinate flow of project specific inbound and outbound equipment, including load out lists and truck packs.Generate TEAM orders for rental items to be pulled, prepped, labeled, andUnderstand TEAM functions relative to title;Read fabrication drawings and understand basic construction methods for scenic build.Assist in creating material takeoffs and review Bill of Materials for Purchasing to order project necessary materials;Create purchase requisitions for PM's to order project materials.Other dutiesUnderstanding of and compliance with company policiesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteProficient in scenic construction techniques and fabrication methodsWorking knowledge of scenic automated solutionsAbility to read and comprehend drawings, i.e. groundplans, sections, scenic elevations and detailsExperience in budget managementMay use computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, word processing, calendar, e-mail and database software and proprietary PRG software in performing work assignments.CompetenciesDemonstrate organizational and time management skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlinesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbalCreative mindset and problem-solving aptitudeAbility to adapt, communicate and manage in a fast-paced working environmentStrong team awareness: initiative to see team needs and provide supportAbility to lead and work well within a teamRequired education and experienceMinimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination within the entertainment market"¯or equivalent experience in shop or show site operations"¯High School Diploma or equivalency required"¯Completion of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited institution of higher learning with a concentration in business administration, hospitality management, operations management or related entertainment technology fields, or equivalent amount of production related experiencePhysical demandsMust be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.The position requires the ability to see clearly (with or without the aid of glasses or contact lenses) during responsibilities on and off a computer.Must be able to communicate effectively by listening and in both written and verbal forms.Travel requiredTravel may occasionally be required to on-site systems and facilitiesMust have valid Driver’s LicenseThe pay range for this position is estimated to be $60,000-$70,000.
