To learn more about Berry, visit berryglobal.comPurpose:Serves as warehouse team lead member by offering constructive support/mentoring to other team members, while assisting with day to day operations to include all aspects of shipping/receiving, scheduling, inventory control, equipment tracking, training, and other assigned tasks.Responsibilities:Complies with health and safety programsMaintains a safe and clean work environment in all warehouse areasPerforms same duties as a warehouse associateServe as secondary support to shipping/receiving clerksManages movement and transfers of materials to include shipping and receiving via DC Link and JDEResponsible for overseeing daily operations outlined by SupervisorOversee team members by prioritizing tasks and making sure tasks are completed timely and efficientlyResponsible for ensuring that daily scheduled orders are completed and shipped timelyResponsible for ensuring inventory accuracyPromote quality across the team while meeting daily goalsTraining of team members in order to stay in compliance with Certifications level I, II, and IIIProvide detailed feedback on the level of performance of warehouse associates to SupervisorInspect all work equipment and provide condition feedback to SupervisorFoster good communication within the teamEnsure all outgoing material meets company standards and proper documentation is processed/signed accuratelyOther duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or ManagerHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent requiredMust have three years minimum warehouse experiencePositive team-oriented attitude with ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyMust possess strong sense of urgency and accuracyAbility to multi-task, assign and monitor multiple team tasks, meet deadlines and maintain accurate recordsAbility to offer team support/direction in an advisory role and coach team members in achieving performance goalsPhysical capability to stand, walk, reach and lift up to 50 pounds
