A new era of live entertainment has arrived in Baltimore with the highly anticipated and reimagined, CFG Bank Arena.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Perform all general accounting functions including general ledger, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.Prepare balance sheet reconciliation.Prepare bi-weekly payroll for all salaried and hourly employees; coordinate HR functions/policies.Perform account and bank reconciliations.Prepare event settlements and generate account transfers or check payments.Oversee food and beverage reporting.Prepare monthly financial statements.Coordinates preparation of Client or external audit materials and financial reporting; implements recommendations of Client as requested.Assist Directors Accounting/Finance with budget preparation, and financial reporting.Manage monthly checklist to ensure completion of all Journal EntriesReview all sponsorship/premium contracts to match all billing schedulesOther duties as assigned.Required Experience & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting, finance, public or business administration or a related field required; CPA preferred.Minimum of 3 - 5 years of Arena/Hotel/Convention Center accounting experience required.May require working beyond normal business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays based on event calendar.Strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail.Proven ability to work well with all levels of management.Must pass background and credit check per guidelines.Experience with ADP payroll.Knowledge of NetSuite/Oracle accounting or similar accounting software preferred.Prior supervisory responsibility preferred.Working Conditions:Minimal Travel (<5% travel): May be required to travel.
