Inspect and ship tissue as per disposition to appropriate processing facility. Work with Processing, Planning and Fresh Tissue departments to ensure adequate queue of tissue for production. Pulls, packs and ships incoming, Fresh and IPBB sampled donors to the Olyphant facility. Receives, inspects and stores tissue in designated freezers for WIP and IPBB sampling. Assist on specials projects and perform additional duties as assigned.Understand and follow all applicable Work Instructions, Operating Procedures, MTF policies correctly.Verify accuracy of Donor tissue identification numbers in correspondence with all associated paperwork.Identify when tissue is compromised, reject, and update all appropriate paperwork and electronic information.Perform proper line clearance to ensure accurate reconciliation of tissues for each Donor.Generate appropriate paperwork and labeling for each shipping requirement.Tracks and logs tissue in database systems including QAD, DORA, QDDS and other databases.Perform transfer in QAD of tissue received/shipped to accurately reflect physical location or transit destination, which includes running necessary reports to capture all tissue to be transferred.Perform tissue reconciliation and inspect tissue for accuracy. Maintain all supply level in area to perform daily tasks. Reorder supplies as necessary.Proper handling of REVIEW /Hold/ tissue request(s).Maintain accurate inventory of tissue(s) and perform physical inventory counts in the RM Quarantine Freezer, WIP Freezers, Re-work, Research, Review, IPBB freezers,Fresh Tissue Refrigerators and In-Transit locations.Perform freezer and refrigerator cleaning and maintenance, and all other cleaning in the Donor Log-In areas.Work in accordance with all ISO, FDA, AATB, OSHA, and DOT regulations Assists on special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.Responsible for receiving and shipment of all raw material tissue in the Olyphant/Jessup facilities.Prepare tissue for aseptic processing and prepares tissue for pretreatment of tissue based on sterility path.Properly schedule and generate manifest for irradiation of tissue.Receive, inspect, and ship Internal Finished Goods (IFG) tissue between facilities based on processing needs.Inspection and shipment of blood samples and tissue for DIZG, Germany.Handle rejected/research tissue including shipments to internal and external customers.Responsible to work with various shippers such as Fed Ex, World Courier, First Global, Hellmanns, to ship tissue to other countries and for research purposes.Responsible for receiving of MOPS graft for verification and reconciliation with trinity residual tissue.Creation of work orders in QAD for new item codes for combined donors and performing component issue in QAD.Receipt of items into QAD including lot/serial number post IPBB testing.Responsible for Medical Waste tracking of all boxes shipped off site for incineration including record retention.Work with external/internal OPO's and other tissue processing organizations to ship tissue as requested.Responsible for the initial logging in and inspection of all incoming donors.Reconciles unprocessed and residual tissue from Fresh Tissue process and ships to the Olyphant facility. Receives and reconcilesResponsible for receiving IPBB donors and shipment of all Incoming, FT deferred, and sampled IPBB donors to/from the Olyphant facility.Responsible for the transportation of, but not limited to, donors, materials and supplies between MTF facilities and outside vendors.Handle rejected and research tissue on an as needed basis.Required Education - High School Diploma/G.E.D.Required Experience -1 Year 1-2 years of related experience, working in a controlled environment, such as warehousing, shipping/inventory, manufacturing Required License,Certification & Registration - Other Valid drivers license with a good driving record Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities Must be computer literateMust be professional Self-motivated Innovative Communicative Assertive Detail orientedAbility to work independently as well as with others.
