Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking a Food Production Supervisor to join our team Schedule: Full Time Shift(s) available: Rotating Must be flexible to work every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed The Food Production Supervisor supervises inmate workers to ensure that meal and food items are prepared in accordance with production plans Trains workers in methods of performing duties and assigns/coordinates work to promote efficiency of operations, along with sanitation of the facility and maintaining personal safety. Check in with opening front line team, check lineup, assess needs and support as needed, check email and shift report. Check and document all kitchen refrigerator temps, and sanitizer logs, and the 86 board to see if items came in. Assist team in setting up the tray line. Make sure meal service is ready to begin on time. Roll call to ensure colleagues on line-up are present. Make sure uniform standards are enforced, including ID. Assist tray line during meal service. Ensure carts are leaving the kitchen promptly, pull colleagues as needed to run carts. Oversee late trays to ensure timely delivery. Monitor breaks and ensure colleagues are leaving and returning in a timely manner. Oversee dirt tray pick up and dish room. Touch base with other supervisors and leads, turn over tray line and late trays. Cash Handling in Cafeteria Sometimes being only supervisor in the department managing 70 colleagues. Office work, reports, scheduling, and line ups.
