Job Title: Business Development Representative Job Description The candidate will be responsible for helping customers with initial online inquiries/phone calls. The position will entail phone usage and email usage, as the main function of the position is to drive business. The candidate will work through leads and help answer questions from current customers. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Daily, via the telephone and Internet, responds to customer inquiries regarding new and pre-owned vehicle inventory. Answers customer responses and replies to customer e-mails daily. As they are received, promptly responds to incoming sales calls/customer inquiries. Determines vehicle needs by asking questions and listening to customer needs. Recommends alternate vehicle choices, when necessary. Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., as well as recommends those things to customers. According to predetermined work plan, on a daily basis, makes follow-up calls to customers. Maintains a follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business, which contributes to customer satisfaction. Maintains a prospect development system and consistently implements that system. Sets appointments with prospects to visit showroom or meet at a place of their choice. Establishes, implements, and maintains personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity. Moves vehicle from lot to front of the store on occasion. Hard Skills 2+ years phone Customer Service experience Proficient with Microsoft Office Professional and willing to speak with customers via email and telephone Data entry skills for recording customer information into the customer service database Job Type This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Horsham, Pennsylvania. Work Environment The candidate will work at the dealership in Horsham, PA and will have their own cubicle with a phone and computer setup. They will work with a team of about 3 other people consisting of other Business Development Representatives and the Sales Manager. Dress code is business casual. Hours: Candidate must work 9-5 pm two days out of the week and 12-8 pm two days out of the week and every Saturday 9-5 pm. They will have one day off during the week and can coordinate with management what day they get off during the week and what days they work 9-5 pm and 12-8 pm.
