Operations Specialist

PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is seeking candidates for an Operations Specialist in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Job Title: Operations Specialist Job Type: Full time; contract (12 months) Location: Scranton, PA Schedule: Monday to Friday; 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Pay Rate: $18 - $20 per hour Job Summary The candidate will work as an Operations Specialist providing a mix of administrative support and technical analysis for various routine operations within a department or functional area. They will handle tasks such as data management using databases and reporting tools, payroll processing , inventory control activities including receiving and stocking items, and general clerical duties. Skill Requirements Administrative , analytical , and/or technical support Proficiency with relational databases and other reporting tools Experience with payroll processing and basic accounting tasks Skills in inventory control , including receiving and stocking items Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite ( MS Word , Excel , Access , PowerPoint ) Preferred: Familiarity with specific payroll systems like JD Edwards Knowledge of the water or utility industry Experience using AutoCAD Education: High school diploma with post high school coursework in secretarial science, business, finance or accounting required; associates level degree in business, finance, accounting or engineering preferred Pay Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
