As the Lead Production Analyst, you will conduct daily oversight and surveys of conditions found at FMM Shipyard in Marinette, Wisconsin, receiving reports from each SME and developing both weekly and monthly reports to the lead Production Support Manager. You will also brief SUPSHIP leadership or the FFG Program Office Production Group (PMS-515P) as needed to report any significant conditions found or observed trends that could affect cost, quality, or schedule. Serco supports the US Navy as a prime for providing engineering and production support on the FFG-62 (Guided Missile Frigate) program. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a skilled group of production engineers and waterfront technicians at the shipbuilder's facility and with a mission to improve the efficiency and quality of the shipyard's processes and to deliver a safe and reliable ship that meets all Navy the requirements. You will also monitor subordinate personnel adherence to Serco policy and procedures during their daily activities. Our production engineering team conducts engineering reviews of the model, engineering products and changes. We provide oversight and report on production efforts across fabrication, accuracy control and alignment, piping, machinery, and electrical. We monitor production progress, quality, and adherence to the integrated master schedule. In this role you will: Direct a dynamic team of SMEs, to include welding/fabrication, piping, machinery, HVAC, drawing changes, scheduling/planning and additional SMEs as the Navy's support needs arise. Supervise the onsite team of SMEs to perform the following actions in monitoring and supporting the ship's construction process. Prepare and organize team to conduct daily walk-throughs of the various shops fabricating deck panels, bulkheads and other structural components or sub-assemblies to validate general compliance with drawings and specification requirements. Ensure discrepancies are documented and reported. Prepare and organize team to support engineering and production reviews, milestone readiness assessments, trials and delivery. Monitor and report on physical progress of all hulls. Oversee adherence to the integrated master schedule. Perform detailed analyses highlighting risks, opportunities, resource constraints, and critical path concerns. Review and provide comments on shipyard 'mini plans' or other named efforts outside of the IMS to improve performance to plan. Review shipyard-submitted master schedules and related CDRLs for anomalies such as missing activities, misaligned or missing predecessor/successor activities and any other schedule items that would indicate reportable discrepancies or omissions. Participate in scheduled meetings with SUPSHIP, shipyard personnel and subcontractors, providing inputs when needed. Observe overall quality of craft work and report any conditions found. Observe material handling, rigging and transport practices for safe methods and processes and report any issues/concerns. Develop and submit weekly reports of activities, including conditions found by the onsite production team and any anomalies or concerns observed during shipyard walk-throughs to the lead Production Support Manager. Develop and submit monthly reports of all completed activities to the lead production engineer. Provide support to the local Supship team as needed and also respond to emergent requests for information or data from PMS 515P (FFG Production Team, Washington Navy Yard). Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DOD Secret Clearance US Citizenship 8 years of experience (Lead Production and Supervisory experience Highly preferred) High School diploma/GED Experience working in a shipyard production environment Ability to lead and manage a diverse group of individuals to form a synergistic team and to handle a fast-paced environment with a variety of technical and management challenges. Knowledge and/or experience in scheduling in a shipbuilding environment. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Excellent oral and technical report writing skills.
