Legal Administrative AssistantLHH Recruitment Solutions seeks a highly organized and dedicated Legal Administrative Assistant to support several Litigation Partners in the Market Square area of Pittsburgh. This part-time, W2 Contract position is expected to last roughly 8-12 weeks to cover an LOA. You must be available to start immediately and work onsite in downtown Pittsburgh Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during regular business hours.Responsibilities:Heavy calendaring and scheduling to keep busy attorneys on trackProactive calendar management to prevent conflictsE-filing, transcription from dictation, and trial preparationProofreading, redlining, revising, and drafting legal documentsBasic administrative tasks, including email and phone management and travel arrangementsCoordination of events, including client meetings and company functionsDocument management, case management, client invoicing, reviewing attorney time, expense reporting, etc.Qualifications:Proven experience (3+ years) as a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary supporting litigation partners and multiple attorneys in a busy US law firm.Typing speed = 60+ WPM (must be willing to take assessments)State and Federal E-filingTranscription from Dictation is requiredStrong organizational and time management skillsAttention to detail and ability to prioritize tasksProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (iManage and Litera preferred)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable with the ability to work full-time hours on-site M-F2+ years of recent litigation defense experience is highly preferredThis part-time, non-exempt W2 Contractor position is in a modern office building with stunning city views, steps from Market Square in downtown Pittsburgh. The ideal candidate will be ready to run with a strong work ethic and a desire to provide exceptional support to busy litigation partners.
