As part of the Multi-Domain Combat Solutions (MDCS) market segment, our mission is to deliver cutting-edge defense solutions that protect and empower global security initiatives.THE WORKIn this role, you'll lead and manage the MDS sub-market segment's Supply Chain activities. This includes overseeing major software subcontracts, engineering services, and hardware subcontracts, while also coordinating material needs with NMAC. With 7 direct reports, you will ensure efficient day-to-day operations across the supply chain. While travel will be limited, you will be integral in the management and execution of high-value contracts and deliverables. With experience leading teams, you're well-versed in handling complex contracts, including software and hardware subcontracts. Your strategic mindset helps you see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail. Your leadership and organizational skills allow you to manage multiple priorities with ease. Lockheed Martin offers a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages growth and professional development, along with competitive benefits and opportunities to advance your career.Basic Qualifications:Business or engineering degree and 10+ years of hands on Major Subcontracts experience including capture, startup and Execution thru all phases of Prime Contract Life Cycle and for DOD, International and Commercial subcontracts. Subject Matter Expert for DOD FAR/DFAR terms and Prime flow-downs. Experience resolving supplier disputes and claims, and with all types of Contracts and Subcontracts (CPF, CPAF, FFP, FPIF, LOE, T&M, etc). Trained and experience in Earned Value Management for Cost and FFP type subcontracts and DOD Data Rights requirements. Proficient use of Excel and evolving data site tools, Bots (i.e. confluence) and P2P. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
