Actalent is hiring a Laboratory Assistant for a clinical research centerin Orlando, FL Job Description The Laboratory Assistant performs a variety of activities to assist the Lab Supervisor and Clinical Research Coordinators (CRC) in the collection of specimens, blood draws, and procedures supporting clinical research trials. The main responsibilities include inventory and shipping of specimens, and potentially performing phlebotomy on clinical trial volunteers. Hard Skills Medical Assistant Phlebotomy Clinical skills Good computer skills (Word and Excel) Intermediate to advanced level of knowledge with Internet technology Training or experience in clinical research GCP requirements Medical documentation requirements Soft Skills Strong interpersonal skills Detail-oriented Strong document review skills Work Site This is a fully on-site position in Orlando, Florida.
