Job Title: Sr. Supervisor, Operations Management Job Code: 15658 Job Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Schedule: 4/10 - 1st Shift (7:00am to 5:30pm) Job Description: Your primary focus will be to provide team leadership to a customer-focused team or group of teams committed to increased quality and productivity. In accordance with organization goals, provides direction on activities and behaviors. Motivates team members and facilitates team meetings. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms, and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance to team on development, performance, and productivity issues. Monitors team budget and ensures proper use of assets. Represents the team, presenting team suggestions and recommendations on processes and procedures in accordance with organization cost, quality, and productivity goals. Reports to functional and/or organization management on team accomplishments, achievements, and productivity. Manages a shift and multidepartment area. Supports production, business, and other processes in a team-based manufacturing environment. Performs activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including production, total quality management, manufacturing, equipment, and material management. Schedules work, assists with employee selection, review employee performance, administers work rules and disciplinary action, and recommends compensation. Responsible for productivity and product quality within their program area. Recommends equipment upgrades, staffing adjustment, and process modifications. Essential Functions: Understands basic supervisory approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, and process execution. Typically requires broad job knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/ Associates Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. 1 -3 years of experience with Lean Manufacturing environment Abilty to obtain a secruity clearence if required Preferred Additional Skills: Soft skills (I.E.
