Job Description One of our most reputable utility clients and the primary utility provider to the Greater NYC area is currently looking for a Clean Energy Senior Engineer to join their Customer Energy Solutions group in their Manhattan office. As a Senior Engineer in the Customer Energy Consulting and Inspection section, you will make informed decisions that balance technical expertise with business considerations in a constantly evolving environment. You will oversee the assessment and evaluation of energy efficiency and demand management projects, navigating the dynamic landscape of emerging technologies and market trends. Your role involves assessing opportunities that meet technical requirements while aligning with our business objectives. This requires a deep understanding of both technical aspects and broader business implications, enabling you to make strategic decisions that drive success in an ever-changing industry. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, Industrial, Electrical or Energy Related Degree) 7+ Years of working experience in energy efficiency, engineering projects, and the building engineering industry. Demonstrated familiarity with primary energy consuming building systems, with particular emphasis on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC+R). Excellent engineering skills and the ability to simplify complex problems are essential qualifications. Excellent oral and written communications skills, including technical writing and oral presentations. Must have strong computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel Certified Energy Manager certification (CEM). Experience with Heat Pump, Building Management Systems, and HVAC control technologies Experience with building simulation and code compliance software.
