The Accountant will fulfill an important role in owning all transactional activity for Snapnrack, a rapidly-growing subsidiary of Sunrun engaged in the business of manufacturing solar racking and mounting. This is a hands-on position with a mix of accounting and operational duties. The Accountant will report to the Sr. Manager of Accounting at Snapnrack. Responsibilities Order to Cash related responsibilities: Order Entry, Credit Applications and Credit Line Extensions, Collections, Billing / Cash Application Purchase to Pay related responsibilities: Supplier set up, AP Entry, Cash disbursements GL accounting related responsibilities, including but not limited to: Cost, Payroll, Fixed Asset and Prepaids, Month end close & reconciliations, SOX control execution and testing support, Misc data analysis and reporting Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to prepaid rent, deferred revenue, long-term and short-term debt, interest expense, various operating expenses and revenues, and equity accounts Responsible for recording accurate financial transactions in accordance with GAAP Record and reconcile inter-company activity, including inter-company payables, receivables, investments, and lease payments Experience with building and tailoring datasets to perform analysis based on various business requirements Prepare quarterly analytics Assist in external financial reporting processes Work with independent auditors to provide support for audited financial statements Assist with Acumatica implementation tasks, such as user acceptance testing Assist with special projects as required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience; public accounting experience preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting Knowledge of operating and reporting structures and financial policies and procedures Thorough, detail-oriented, and performs effective self-reviews Is accountable Takes ownership Recruiter: Danielle Levitan () Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to acts, such as The Equal Pay Transparency Act. Starting salary/wage for this opportunity: $54,265.05 to $72,353.40 Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility, which is based on company and individual performance, short and long term incentives, and program-specific awards.
