Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Position summary Lead a complementary team responsible for the lifecycle of equipment used in the North America Distribution Network of facilities, working together with local Maintenance personnel. Ensure all on-site services are performed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail. Analyze data and conduct regular business reviews to enhance equipment availability, reliability, throughput, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Identify and deliver continuous improvement initiatives and methodology into operations including OEE - overall equipment effectiveness while achieving set goals on MTTR, MTBP, and other indices. Oversight of Capital Costs ($5.0M CAPEX) and Operational Equipment and Repair Costs ($6.0M OPEX) for the network of 14 distribution centers. This includes approval and tracking of all network capital projects and expenses for repairs. Manage a team of 2 IT Area Systems managers who support WMS servers, WAN/LAN network equipment, and other IT functions. Master administrative user of Thermo Fisher's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Mainsaver. This includes weekly reporting of downtime as entered by the site local maintenance managers. Configuration to include adding assets and work orders for PM's, inspections, etc. Provide support for facility outages related to conveyor, HVAC, Fire, and Security at all locations. This includes business continuity playbooks and contact call trees for all critical suppliers. Dotted line reporting of network maintenance managers. This includes facilitating a bi-weekly conference call for alignment. This call requires distributing a facility maintenance template via SharePoint for the managers to populate and review. There will be a monthly department project and program workload review with the VP of Distribution and Logistics. Complete approved high dollar value capital initiatives and implement them using project management tools (such as Microsoft Project Gant Charts). Monitor projects from PO to final invoice completion. Qualifications: Engineering or relevant degree with six (6) years of related Distribution or Manufacturing experience. Proficient with summarizing and communicating information from various sources such as PowerBI, CMMS, while using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. This includes the ability to analyze financial data and create charts and graphs for all areas of oversight. Experience with conveyor systems, HVAC/HEPA Systems, Electrical Distribution Systems (AC and DC, 24v to 480v), Motors, VF Drives, and Servo Controlled System preferred. Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, task prioritization, and interpersonal proficiency. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed, up to 25%.
