You will support the development of strategies to gain new customers and to identify ways to penetrate new markets and channels. You will influence and partner with other Honeywell business leaders, marketing, sales, product development and various functions to define a long-term roadmap for reaching and securing new customers. We are seeking a passionate and strategic Lead Energy Market Analyst to join our team, focusing on customer Energy, Sustainability and Infrastructure subsidy opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating new and developing funding sources, establishing yourself as an energy subject matter expert within key industry organizations to influence subsidy policy, driving customer-centric strategies with the sales team to position them as trusted advisors, leveraging insights to inform decision-making, and contributing to the growth and success of our organization within the Energy Services industry. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of the market, identifying opportunities for growth, and guiding our sales teams towards delivering exceptional customer experiences in the market. Use your knowledge of customers, the industry and competition to identify and pursue opportunities for growth for Honeywell's Energy business. You will support the development of strategies to gain new customers and to identify ways to penetrate new markets and channels. Key Responsibilities: Subsidy Identification and Programming: Research and identify current and emerging sustainability, energy and efficiency funding opportunities through geographical specific research, draft legislative reviews, industry networking, etc. Aid in the qualification of projects for prescribed competitive and non-competitive grants. Engage with sellers to promote the incorporation of all available alternative funding sources into customer value propositions. Create lead generation initiatives leveraging market specific financial incentives. Conduct training sessions communicating dynamics of new alternative funding programs and associated customer benefits to the key internal stakeholders. Act as a customer facing sales support Subject Matter Expert in the field of energy related rebates, grants and incentives. Market Segmentation and Analysis: Conduct market segmentation analysis to identify and prioritize target customer segments based on relevant financial subsidies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor product offerings, marketing messages, and sales strategies specifically for the Energy Services market. Keep abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape within the Energy Services sector, generating actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. Legislative Impact and Awareness: Maintain a current understanding of Energy related legislation and lobbyist's efforts to influence changes impacting the Energy Services and carbon reduction markets. Position yourself as a subject matter expert in the Energy arena representing Honeywell in well-respected industry organizations. Establish and leverage industry relationships to inform and influence Energy subsidy policy and regulations. Sales Enablement: Collaborate closely with the sales organization to understand their needs and challenges, developing sales enablement collateral, tools & resources and deploying training to drive revenue. Provide training, guidance, and support to the sales team on how to leverage available subsidies and market intelligence to drive successful sales outcomes. Work in partnership with the Strategy and Offering Management team to mobilize overarching Energy Services strategies that are tailored and operationalized for the specific region, providing next-level strategic and customer insights to direct the sales organization. Strategic Planning and Execution: Contribute to the development of the overall strategic direction for our organization within the Energy Services sector, incorporating customer insights and market trends into strategic planning processes. Collaborate with senior leadership to define strategic priorities, goals, and initiatives specific to the Energy Services market, leading the execution of strategic initiatives related to customer insights and business development. YOU MUST HAVE + Proven track record of leveraging data and insights to drive strategic business decisions and improve market performance. + Experience in a BD or Sales role for a business focused on the development, identification and application of energy related subsidies and grants strategic marketing, market research, or customer insights role, preferably within the Energy sector and focused on the North American market. + Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations. + Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. + Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
