CNC Operator - 2nd Shift

Nesco Resource is currently sourcing for a CNC Operator for our client in Chesterfield, MI. This is a 2nd shift contract to hire opportunity.Shift: 3:30pm to 12:00am Monday-Friday (OT based on production needs)Pay Rate: $19.50 per hourESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Complete Daily Check List for work cell. Perform preventative maintenance and housekeeping tasks as required. Rotate or replace indexable cutting inserts in lathes at specified intervals or as needed. Replace machining center end mills, drills and taps at specified intervals or as needed Cut initial parts after cutting tool rotation or replacement Measure parts with variable gages Make offsets as required to adjust dimensions Measure parts after adjustments to confirm parts are in specification Measure and record part dimensions at specified intervals on dimensional audit forms Load raw parts on part stocker Inspect and pack parts at the end of the line Report production output by completing production report Reset machines when they stop due to short stoppages Monitor part quality during the course of the shift Report machine or quality issues to the supervisor.Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
