LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a leading Utility Construction Company located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, seeking a proactive and seasoned Controller to manage all financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will handle construction accounting, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. An excellent opportunity awaits a dynamic professional adept at navigating a fast-paced environment and collaborating effectively with upper management and corporate teams.Position: Controller Location: Conshohocken, PA Salary: $120-150k Industry: Utility ConstructionKey Responsibilities:- Contribute to the development of the company's strategic plans.- Maintain and update a comprehensive system of accounting policies and procedures.- Manage the accounting department's operations, including organizational structure and transaction controls.- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and work-in-progress reports, and review them with the Division Vice President.- Monitor the company's financial performance.- Collaborate with Project Managers to review monthly cost reports, analyze changes, identify potential cost issues, and assist with the job closeout process.- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages.- Prepare and manage monthly and annual operating budgets.- Develop and oversee financial controls in line with company procedures.- Communicate key financial metrics to senior management.- Provide leadership and support to the job costing, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable teams.- Ensure timely and accurate billing submissions in accordance with contract requirements.- Coordinate with relevant departments to manage cash flow effectively.Qualifications:- Proven experience as a Controller in the construction or related industry.- Strong understanding of construction accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.- Excellent leadership abilities and experience working with senior management.- Proficient in managing multiple financial departments.This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
