Director of Project ManagementLHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Director of Project Management with 4 years of experience, for a full-time job, located in Amityville, New York. This is an excellent Contract to Hire opportunity for someone looking to grow within the Supply Chain industry.Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership for nationwide events and manage the daily operations occurring on a weekly basis.Address and resolve escalated project issues that may hinder timely project completion, working to coordinate effective solutions.Establish, implement, and enforce project management standards, processes, and best practices.Lead, mentor, and support a team of project managers by setting deadlines, assigning tasks, and overseeing project progress.Collaborate closely with top clients to ensure clear and satisfactory communication throughout project lifecycles.Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring the accuracy and accountability of inventory being shipped and received.Manage risks and secure resources to ensure successful execution of deliveries, pickups, shipments, and events.Continuously analyze and improve operational processes, suggesting enhancements where necessary.Foster collaboration and effective communication between project teams, the inventory department, and warehouse staff.Maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Proficient with Microsoft Office- Excel Worksite: OnsiteEmployment Type: Full time, Contract to Hire Salary: $38-41/hr Pay Details: $38.00 to $41.00 per hourSearch managed by: Patrick Garron Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
