In this role, youu2019ll make an impact in the following ways: Incubate new commercial opportunities from inception (analytically identifying opportunity); to structuring (commercial model; inside/outside bank); to agreement with Business Leaders (for input and support) through to launch. Assist with the shaping and execution of the business growth strategy, with a focus area on working with potential external partners and stakeholders to drive execution. Maintains a strong external orientation, represents the Bank in key external forums, and provides market u201cintelligenceu201d from clients, industry, and other thought leaders. Collaborate with Marketing to develop externally-oriented collateral and materials to tell the Growth Ventures story and partnership opportunities. Partner with Chief Growth Officer and Head of Business Development and Execution on special projects as requested.Successful Candidate Will Demonstrate/Possess: A passion for the business and outperformance mindset Commercial focus on growing the bottom-line while mitigating/managing risk Intellectual curiosity: desire to constantly learn and continuously improve. Knowledge of financial services industry including client segments, business models, key incumbents and new entrants, significant trends, and outlook Demonstrate excellent judgement and a fact-based approach to evaluation and decision making. Strong communication and presentation skills (both verbally and in writing); able to articulate complex information in a clear and simple manner to a variety of audiences. Strong leadership: calm presence and ability to instill confidence in key stakeholders, internally and externally. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
