Indemnity Payor Enrollment Project Lead Job Summary: The Indemnity Payer Enrollment Project lead will directly report to the Senior Enrollment Manager and have dotted line to Executive Leadership. This individual will support the Indemnity Enrollment team (Medicaid and Medicare) and their overall responsibility for ensuring the assigned projects and its outputs are planned, monitored and delivered in accordance with agreed work-plans and objectives. The Project lead has primary responsibility for tracking and managing the project they are assigned. He/she is responsible for identifying key resources and providing the direction required for meeting the project objectives. This includes delivering the project, to agreed targets and objectives, on time and on budget, across the project region. The Project Lead will assist the development, implementation/updating and monitor the content of the CVO/OMA's desk level procedures. The Project Lead will assist the Senior Enrollment Manager in planning, executing and ensuring that the projects are appropriately represented by CVO/OMA across target territories to the key local stakeholders. Responsibilities: Acts as a liaison and representation for the CVO/OMA Office with regard to strategic and operational project issues. Responsible for the coordination and successful completion all their assigned project tasks. Assists leadership in monitoring the indemnity inventory dashboard based on assigned projects. This will include monitoring and tracking an assigned project, ensuring the quality and cohesion of training, networking and projects. Maintains, monitors and executes projects timely, efficiently and cost effectively. Communicates timely and appropriate to key stakeholders. Assists with coordination and tracking the assigned work of individual team members throughout all phase of assigned projects. Trains the indemnity team (Medicaid and Medicare) enrollment processes, continuing to maintain good client relations throughout any assigned project. Meets with other departments as an Indemnity resource for the CVO/OMA on a regular basis. Ensure all Desk Level Procedures (DLPs) are current and new for all indemnity processes are placed on Share drive. Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization. Education or Equivalent Experience: H.S. Diploma/GED (Required). 7+ years of proven experience in payor enrollment or credentialing or healthcare or insurance industry or project leadership (Required). 3+ years of leadership experience (team lead, project lead, supervisor, etc.) (Required). Bachelor's Degree (Preferred). Skills & Abilities: A strong business sense, with the ability to formulate goals and implement and execute on strategies. Effective communication skills in various methods, verbal, written, and presentations. Detail oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Appropriate energy, attitude, and aptitude to represent a high-performance service-oriented team. Understanding of medical office and/or hospital and/or healthcare operations. Assist Enrollment Supervisors to write stories/business requirements that develop enhancements to the ECHO systems and supports Office of Medical Affairs (OMA) departmental guidelines. Ability to Travel. Ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, courteous and efficient manner. Strong leadership and diplomacy skills and the ability to define and resolve critical issues.
