Position Overview: Sparks is looking for a temporary HR Coordinator to join the HR team for a 4 to 6 month temporary assignment. The role is a hybrid work arrangement out of our Philadelphia office. The Human Resources Coordinator completes administrative and people operation tasks for the HR department including assisting with new hires, exits, recruitment, maintenance of the HRIS system (Human Resource Information System), training and development, legal compliance, performance management and benefits. Responsibilities: Handle the termination documentation and exit interview process. Coordinate, screen, and interview prospective candidates for multiple sites and departments as well as conduct reference checks. Perform background and drug screening checks. Assist with onboarding and processing of new hires including paperwork processing, new hire orientation, and engagement. Partner with employees to communicate benefit options and answer benefit questions Address employment verification, unemployment data requests, and other third-party and employee requests regarding employment data. Help develop and track HR metrics by conducting monthly Headcount Reports and 60-day review completion. Manage company Employee Referral program. Partner with the HR team in the planning and execution of Large Group Orientation new hire orientation program. Conduct and act as backup for bi-weekly 401k reconciliation report. Conduct and act as backup for weekly Medical, Dental, and FSA & HSA reports. Support employee engagement and a positive employee relations environment through timely and conscientious responses as well as proactive efforts; respond to employees' and managers' HR-related inquiries. Assist with planning Health Fair events. Placing baby blanket orders as well as sympathy plants, or any other sympathy gifts, for our employees. Coordinate and draft new hire announcements and quarterly promotion announcements. Run multiple reports and manage the communication with various departments (new hire report, term report, etc.) Data entry and update changes in ADP Workforce now (title, department, manager, employee personal information). Prepare promotion letters and payroll documents. Other duties as assigned by Human Resources and the Management team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related area Demonstrated capability to maintain strict confidentiality with employee information Outstanding customer service orientation, sense of urgency, and a high-level of personal integrity Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in the use of HRIS systems (ADP preferred but not required) 1-2 years human resources experience 1-2 years of recruiting experience (preferred but not required) Preferred Skills: Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills V-Lookup and excellent Excel and Google Sheets skills Company Overview: Sparks is a live + digital brand experience agency.
