We support the Combat Systems Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) in ensuring the operational readiness and performance excellence of critical naval defense systems.The WorkPrimary tasking for this position is ownership and coordination of the Site Change Implementation Notice (SCIN) process, as well as overall coordination and oversight of Configuration Management, GFE Intake to and out-processing from CSEDS. Coordinate arrival of new equipment and systems with Property Management and Cyber Security team to ensure external entities are aware of property arrival/removal and Cyber requirements as they pertain to incoming systems.Act as CSEDS liaison to LM Development Program Site Teams, LM Warehouse team, as well as external activities that are bringing equipment to the site.Ancillary tasking includes support of Property Management, Site Logistics projects and tasks, as well as supporting planning of new installations and activations - including labor estimates as required. Additionally candidate will act as liaison to Site Management in matters relating to the SCIN process and logistics processes.WHO YOU ARECandidates for this position should possess a background in configuration management, logistics and a high-level understanding of the AEGIS program and related systems and processes used in implantation, sustainment and development. Additionally, candidates should also possess a working knowledge of System Assurance and Cyber Security requirements as they pertain to CSEDS and Systems Under Test.Additional skills we are seeking include: Technical Proficiency: Proven knowledge and experienced with Test System/Lab/Site/Logistic operations and maintenance. Functional understanding of Government Property Management as dictated by the FAR. Understanding of CSEL, level codes and related processes, and Development Baseline system configurations as they relate to CSEDS. Excellent communications skills to act as chairperson for Site Change Implementation Board (SCIB) and Configuration Change Board (CCB). Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team of co-workers, contractors and tradespeople. Proven background in Test Site engineering, Configuration Management or Logistics.Desired Skills: Experience in Windchill environment,background in Site Activation and relatedprocesses. Understanding of NAVSEA and DODRMF and Cyber Security requirements andprocesses. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite Products, and Databases. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
