The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.Efficient, well-supported clinic located at United Medical Park an ambulatory campus which also has a Multi-specialty ASC attachedFull-time position working with our current team of 2 Orthopedic surgeons and 1 Advanced Practice ProviderFast-paced established outpatient clinicIndependently treat patients. Clinic hours Monday-Thursday 8-4:30 and Friday 8-2 PMSaturday clinic 10-12 weeks per yearSatellite clinics in Sumner and potential to add additional siteCall rotated by providers and phone call only.Support from a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialistsOnsite Physical therapy, athletic trainer, full-scale diagnostic laboratory, and imaging services including MRI and CTFully integrated system with clinic and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordinationSpecialize in treatment for all orthopedic conditions.See wide variety of patients from pediatric to adults.Help assess, diagnose, and treat patients suffering from various musculoskeletal problems including fractures, osteoporosis, arthritis, and chronic conditions. Full range of clinical services including physical exams, patient histories, prescribing tests, treatments, medication, and analyzing resultsAssess and manage pain, prepare patients for orthopedic surgery, and provide care and support during rehabilitation.In office procedures include injections, casting, suture removal, wound care, and fluid withdraw from joints.Average 17-20 patients per dayAbility to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serveNurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantBoard Certified1-2 years of experience preferredHold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IowaHold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practiceEligible to work in the United StatesWe offerInitial 2-year salary guarantee with ability to exceed on an innovative compensation programAttractive incentive packageA competitive Total Rewards program offers benefits that align with your needs and priorities, no matter what stage of life you are in.
