Human Resources Intern Position SummaryThe HR Intern will be responsible for partnering with the Cretex Companies HR team to execute key initiatives including, deployment of talent management strategies, development of standard work, assistance with training plans and strategies, implementation of employee engagement and recognition activities, data analysis, and HR automation. This Human Resources Intern position will be located in Elk River, MN. This internship will also be an on-site position, working 40 hours.Human Resources Intern Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with the deployment of talent management strategiesCreate flow charts and standard work for HR processesPerform analysis on position descriptions, classifications, and compensation Research and present on industry trends and best practices for HR disciplinesAssist in coordinating and facilitating comprehensive and sustainable strategies Propose opportunities for continued improvementAnalyze and interpret data in order to support the objectives of the HR departmentDevelop reports, dashboards, and predictive modelsPresent data to the HR team and Area Managers.Assist in the preparation for increased HR automationAct as key contact within Corporate HR for the intern program Ensure program components are being carried out within operating companiesSupport and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirementsRead, understand, and follow work instructions and standard workPartner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and financeUnderstand customer needs and the core business markets we serveHuman Resources Intern QualificationsPursuing a degree in the Human Resources fieldDesire to work with the sense of ownership and urgency to see all projects through to completionMicrosoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Attention to detailOrganizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to prioritize and multitaskDesirable Criteria & QualificationsPrevious HR internship experience Certificates Continuing Education; including participation in local chapters, associations, and/or organizationsWhat to Expect from an Internship with Cretex Companies?Each summer, we are excited to offer interns countless opportunities to network, learn more about the Cretex family of businesses, and have fun!
