Position Details:This position is part of the teaching faculty within the Language Development department and reports to the Department Chair.Responsibilities:This is a part-time faculty position. Expectations for this position include teaching one or more English courses during daytime hours and could also include the following: teach in afternoons and/or evenings (non-peak times) and use instructional technology in the classroom. English faculty members teach and supervise all learning experiences and evaluate student performance in the classroom.Minimum Qualifications:A mastery of the English language, a commitment to excellence in teaching at the community college level, and a master's degree or higher with a minimum of eighteen graduate hours in English are required. Preference will be given to applicants with college teaching experience.Salary Range & Fringe Benefits:Salary for adjunct faculty members is based upon level of education and range from $1,800 per 3-hour course for a master's degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
