Senior Financial AnalystLHH is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team in San Francisco on a Temp to hire basis This is a great opportunity to work a hybrid schedule of 2 days onsite and 3 days working remotely. Our client, a dynamic and mission-driven organization, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in their financial operations.Key Responsibilities: Financial Planning: Support annual and multi-year financial planning by anticipating business changes, identifying trends, aligning stakeholders on critical inputs, completing input models, and ensuring accurate reflection of planning and reporting data in financial systems. Technical Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for financial planning software, handling the technical aspects of the planning process. Board Reporting: Assist with the quarterly board reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements, forward-looking projections, and detailed written analyses. Cost Accounting: Contribute to the development and maintenance of cost accounting frameworks to ensure precise tracking of recurring costs. Financial Analysis: Create both qualitative and quantitative financial analyses for key internal clients, including senior management, and support special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed. Reporting and Automation: Design and implement new reports and dashboards, streamline processes, enhance automation, and improve analytics to deliver financial results efficiently to senior management. Budget Management: Prepare budget versus actual analyses, and meet with budget holders on a monthly basis to review department-level financial statements. Quality Assurance: Uphold high standards of quality assurance with consistent data validation practices. Financial Modeling: Build and maintain financial models and handle various ad-hoc projects as assigned. Cross-functional collaboration: Engage with cross-functional partners across the organization to support financial initiatives and projects. Team Support: Assist the Director of FP&A and other finance team members as needed.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, ideally within a non-profit or mission-driven organization. Strong proficiency in financial modeling, reporting, and data analysis. Ability to handle large data volumes, work under tight deadlines, and manage multiple assignments.
