In this role, the successful candidate Performs routine general service tasks in kitchen cafeteria dining room dish room and patient areas.Job Responsibilities:Completed production sheets and temperature logs as needed.Fosters an environment that promotes teamwork.Maintains established dept Policies and Procedures objective QI programs safety environment & IC standards.Tends & loads dish machinePrepares & delivers late trays to patients on the units and ER.Collects all soiled trays and returns them to dish room in a timely manner.Collects/disposes of trash/garbage as needed.Washes pots according to pot washing instructions and fills out logs.Assists with catering events as needed.Cleans & sanitizes work areas storage areas pantries floors refrigerators equipment.Delivers patients' nourishments to nurse pantries in timely/ accurate manner.Assembles food trays for regular & modified diets per patient diet order/request.Visits patient for verbal menu selection.Sets up stations before meal service.Sweeps/mops floor & performs assigned special cleaning duties.Prepares cold foods such as salads desserts, sandwiches etc for patients cafeteria catered functions according to production sheets and written/oral instructions.Pans prepared food per production sheets and labels properly.Minimum Qualifications:To qualify you must have a Ability to read, write, speak English and follow oral/ written directions.Preferred Qualifications:Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred. The salary range for the role is $21.19 - $23.77 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
