DescriptionSenior Trust Ops Specialist - Client ServiceThe Senior Trust Ops Specialist serves as a key point of contact for our client facing teams which support Trust, Agency, and Institutional clients. Primary tasks include federal and state estimate and balance due tax payment processing, probate court accountings, client on-boarding, account maintenance, account closings, reconciliations and general reporting. The successful candidate will work in a team-oriented environment with our account administrators and other operations/support teams to deliver a seamless experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will be passionate about client service and will use communication and relationship management skills to ensure an exceptional level of client satisfaction. Must be detail-oriented, work with a high degree of accuracy and be able to handle multiple issues and meet short deadlines. He/She will be responsible for completing assigned tasks within established deadlines and in accordance with policies and procedures. The position requires to work on-site at the company's Johnston, RI office.Specific functions include:Processing federal and state estimate and balance due tax paymentsPreparing and filing probate accountings for New Hampshire courtsCalculating and processing Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds (UPMIFA) paymentsReviewing required investment account opening documentation for completeness and accuracy, and setting-up accounts on internal accounting systemManaging investment account closings, ensuring that all internal teams complete their responsibilities as part of the closing processCompleting daily and monthly cash reconciliations, while identifying any resulting exceptions for research and resolutionProcessing incoming mail, including check logging and posting and returned mailIndependently researching more complex internal and external inquiriesEnsuring the unit's documented procedures are accurate and up to dateRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree Preferred2 years + Financial Services experienceExperience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelStrong attention to detail and the importance of data accuracyStrong research and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational, time management and prioritization skillsStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to adapt to an ever-changing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience providing operational support for trust/investment accounts for high net worth clientsExperience with the InnoTrust accounting platformHours & Work ScheduleHours per Week: 40Work Schedule: M-F#LI-Citizens6Some job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
