Nesco Resource has partnered with a leader in the manufacturing industry, to find a dedicated and meticulous Quality Control Inspector. Located in Rochester, NY this is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company and play a key role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in their production processes.Job Title: Quality TechnicianPay Rate: $16-$23 based on experience.Shift: Monday-Friday 6am - 2:30pmResponsibilities: Perform in-process inspections. Prepare and process non-conforming material reports. Conduct audits at the manufacturing process. Perform calibrations on various gages such as thread rings, plug gages, gage blocks, micrometers, indicators, etc. Maintain calibration standards. Document calibration tasks and enter results into reports. Coordinate calibration/project activities with manufacturing departments. Interact with other quality technicians. Perform Gage R&R studies. Provide measurements for SPC using tools such as Zeiss Calypso CMM, Mitutoyo profilometer, Mitutoyo roundtester, and Mitutoyo contracer. Analyze and document SPC data.Qualifications: 2-5 years of machined component inspection experience preferred. Experience inspecting tight tolerance and high-precision parts is preferred. Knowledge of operating CMM Zeiss Calypso, Mitutoyo profilometer, and Mitutoyo contracer is a plus. SPC knowledge is preferred. Ability to interpret basic blueprints and specifications.
