Waters Corporation is currently seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Data Analyst to join the Global Real Estate, Facilities & HSE team. The HSE Data Analyst is an integral part of the HSE team supporting the Waters Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability strategies and initiatives by enabling a culture of data-driven decision making. The HSE Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting and transforming data into actionable insights and ensuring a high level of data quality for internal and external reporting.This position requires you to be on-site 2 to 3 days a week in our Milford, MA. office.Manage global HSE management software and associated HR/IT interface. Manage the monthly & quarterly data collection process for metrics and reporting of HSE and sustainability data. Develop and implement a standardized process for integrating data into the HSE management software. Manage various HSE data collection platforms to maintain service customer relationships Establish and maintain protocols for monitoring and maintaining the integrity and transparency of data intake and validation processes.Incorporate new metrics and data sources to provide a more comprehensive view of HSE & sustainability performance.Implement technological solutions or process enhancements to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting.Conduct software training sessions, create training content and support with HSE data requests as neededConduct periodic reviews of sustainability data and invoices to identify anomalies, discrepancies, or potential errors. Ensure data accuracy, consistency and completeness across all sites prior to sharing the data with relevant stakeholdersWork closely with relevant global teams to resolve issues and ensure data integrity. Develop and produce regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and presentations to support the oversight and management of key metrics, indicators, and trends. Analyze HSE and sustainability data to identify trends, patterns, areas for improvement, and provide insights and recommendations to management for enhancing the company's HSE and sustainability performanceConduct strategic analysis of current and future HSE and sustainability data systems’ needs to enhance existing data management and reporting requirements. Perform ad-hoc analyses in response to customer or shareholder inquiries, or in support of cross-functional projects. Support the team in development of risk mitigation strategies based on data driven insights Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE, sustainability, or data administration roleBachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related fieldBasic knowledge of web development platforms, databases, and infrastructureDemonstrated ability to execute work assignments and perform duties with or without direct supervisionDemonstrated strong problem solving and analytical skills, strong attention to detailStrong communications, interpersonal, and organizational skillsExperience using Intelex HSE Management System software or similar platforms Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, SAP, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Power BIKnowledge of database creation and managementFamiliarity with third-party sustainability reporting standards, frameworks, and scorecards (e.g., DJSI, GRI, SASB, Sustainalytics, EcoVadis, GHG Protocol etc.)Relevant coursework in data analysis, computer science, data extraction, data exploration and data visualization.Ability to influence others and to work in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple priorities and to adapt and learn in a changing work environmentWaters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), the world's leading specialty measurement company, has pioneered chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis innovations serving the life, materials, and food sciences for over 60 years.
