Throughout the event, this section should be monitored closely to serve all guests and to respond to any “trouble situation”.Check all passes, credentials and tickets for the correct location, date and time.Maintaining a safe environment at all times for guests.Enforcing all Colliseum and Event Complex policies and procedures.Prepare for each event by acquiring all pertinent show information.Familiarity with the ticketing system and correctly operating the ticket scanners and turnstiles.Moving patrons through the gates and lines of access as quickly as possible.Visually inspecting guests for bottles, cans or any other item not permitted into the facility.Directing patrons through the proper entrances and areas that allowed for public access.Preventing entrance to emergency exit doors and to all areas that are not public access.Asking and utilizing event supervisors and management staff for assistance whenever needed and reporting all suspicious behavior.Greet and provide direction and assistance to club and suite guests while protecting their limited access areas in the venue.Greet incoming guests and accommodate their needs and requests.Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.Effective oral communication and writing skillsAbility to interact with guests and staff on a professional basisMust have a earned a high school diploma or equivalent GEDPrevious experience preferredAbility to work a flexible schedule, including but not limited to nights, weekends and select holidaysAt OVG, we understand that to continue positively disrupting the sports and live entertainment industry, we need a diverse team to help us do it.
