Details: --> We have an outstanding career opportunity for an Engineering Product Line Manager to join a leading Company located in the Lancaster, NY surrounding area.Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000The responsibilities of this position primarily are focused on organizing and leading the engineering personnel in project efforts for conceptualizing, designing, developing, testing, and supporting products. Project leadership of advanced engineering projects is also a major responsibility. Providing technical responses to customer inquiries is done as a part of their business development role in conjunction with sales management. Coordination of research and development projects is also a part of this position's activities.Responsibilities:Direct engineering disciplines and project activitiesParticipate in regular engineering management activitiesDevelop and support the product strategy for the product line and coordinate this with the appropriate business interface personnelPrepare project justifications including planning, coordination, and managementProvide resource allocation and management through budgeting activitiesInitiate requisitions for material, equipment, or production engineeringAssist in the transition of new products into productionWork with the engineering services organization to determine service staffing levelsSupport the engineering services organization in the execution of qualification and certification programsInterface with the customer to provide all technical information as required by the customer, and attend customer meetings as neededSupport the Certification/Compliance Director, in meeting the company compliance and certification strategyBasic Hiring Criteria:Bachelor's Degree (BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering); or MS in EngineeringMinimum 10 years of engineering experience in an aerospace environmentCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipAll applicants must be a US citizen or US Permanent Resident (i.e., Green Card Holder)Desired Qualifications:MBA optionalProject Management skills, training, and experienceWorking knowledge of manufacturing MRP systemsLiteracy in Microsoft suite of Office softwareBenefits offered to vary by the contract.
