Are you a Quality expert? We need your help Local manufacturing company in Ballston Spa is urgently seeking a Senior Quality Specialist to support its busy team. This is a temporary need, starting as soon as possible, available to cover a long-term leave. We're seeking candidates who can jump in and hit the ground running with Senior-Level Quality Control tasks Temporary position, starting ASAP Duration: 3-4 months, potential for permanent positions within company Hours: M-F, 7am-3:30pm Pay: $28-35/hr. Onsite in Ballston SpaThis person will be responsible for maintaining the quality control process so that supply chain can provide materials in accordance with specifications put forth by the company. The Senior Quality Specialist will ensure quality processes are implemented, and is responsible for the material inspection and non-conforming material processes.Day-to-day, you will Maintain responsibility and authority to comply with the ISO standards and procedures. Ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained. Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization. Monitor inspection criteria. Maintain the non-conforming material process. Verify that non-conforming material reportsare processed in a timely manner and define the corrective and / or preventive actions as necessary. Inspect receiving and shipping materials according to the technical documentation. Maintain records in SAP system. Maintain, update, and coordinate all the necessary actions related to the ISO certification. Review test procedures and reports and ensure proper completion of the test report document. Conduct first article inspection activities. Perform vendor evaluation audits. Maintain the quality area clean and inform his/her supervisor of any needs to maintain the area safe and enjoyable.
