Overview The Assistant Merchandiser is primarily responsible for day-to-day activities surrounding style data entry and maintenance to support the Polo/RLX brand merchandising, design, product management and commercial region teams globally. The Assistant Merchandiser is also responsible for supporting their Product Merchandiser on all major milestones throughout the end-to-end process including market research, line planning, adoption, line review. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the end-to-end style definition process in our Ralph Lauren systems (both GFE+ and Vibe IQ) for Polo/RLX brands and all distribution channels globally (including Full-Price, Outlet and Off-Price channels) Drive accurate and timely data entry and day-to-day data maintenance Manage style data communication on daily basis with cross-functional teams globally Publish and maintain accurate records of style changes in a report distributed weekly to cross-functional teams and commercial region teams Enter seasonal samples into our Ralph Lauren GFE+ system and assist in the sample tracking process Run MicroStrategy reports to track global buy data seasonally and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure styles meet minimum order quantities Assist with ad hoc projects and work with the team as requests arise Manage product category meeting invites via Outlook Attend design meetings, weekly cross-functional team meeting with the category merchandiser Support category merchandiser with research on competitive landscape and trend relevant information Build the seasonal line plan in partnership with the category merchandiser Assist the merchandising team with milestone meeting preparation including adoption and line review Experience, Skills & Knowledge Bachelor's Degree preferredStrong analytical and retail math skills.Strong communication, interpersonal & teamwork skills.Evident leadership and influencing skills.Highly organized, detail oriented & accurate.Resourceful, efficient and able to take initiative. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Priority and time management skills.
