Team members employed at the Westin Buffalo receive Marriott travel discounts world-wide.Lead and manage a team of Housekeepers and Front Desk Associates, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluationMaintain an inventory of supplies; order and distribute supplies and equipmentEnsure that all reports, orders, and projects are completedMonitor and controls expenses and payroll, while ensuring proper resources are in placeConduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as neededDrive a company vehicle as neededHigh school degree or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in hospitality or similar is strongly preferredMinimum five (5) years of hotel operations experience, including front desk and housekeeping, requiredMinimum three (3) years in a hospitality leadership/supervisory role requiredPrevious Marriott experience is preferredWorking knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solventsAbility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and some holidays requiredMust have a valid driver's licenseFrequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing dutiesOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 poundsVisual acuity is sufficient to inspect the cleanliness of rooms and surfaces
