If your passion is service excellence and top-quality care come join our team and apply today!Ensures the timely entry of medical data into computer system to facilitate processing and delivery of edited documentation for client facilitiesMaintains accurate updates and medical records documents for each specific facilityResearch all unedited sheets that are pended or unable to process due to illegibility or unfamiliar terminology on handwritten sheets provided by the facilityRecognizes deviations and irregularities relating to data and system requirements and seeks resolution from originator, supervisor or managerVerifies and clarifies any or all problems or inquiries with the facility’s documentation requests/needsCommunicates with facilities nursing staff, Director of Nursing and Administrator on a regular basis regarding corrections of medical dataUtilize reference materials available to improve skills regularly and ongoingMaintains the confidentiality of employees and patients/residents’ demographics and medical informationRuns medical records forms and reports containing facility, patient and pharmaceutical informationAssists consultant pharmacists by obtaining facility data from system as needed and also informs consultant pharmacists regarding department proceduresPromotes customer goodwill and enhances corporate image to support the corporate mission, values and philosophyConducts audit with the specific facility upon request using computerized data with facility dataObserve and comply with all Company policies and proceduresPerforms other tasks as assignedEducation/Learning ExperienceRequired: High School Diploma or equivalent experienceDesired: Formal training as a Pharmacy Technician (educational program with medical focus)Work ExperienceRequired: Zero to three months related experience and/or trainingDesired: Three to six monthsSkills/KnowledgeDesired: Computer literacy (basic skills)Behavior CompetenciesRequired: Detail orientation, results orientation, teamwork and oral communicationPharMerica is a full-service pharmacy solution providing value beyond medication.
