Plant Operator/Maintenance SpecialistClick Here to Apply OnlineJob DescriptionLocation: Wadley Regional Medical Center at HopePosted Date: 7/16/2024Job Type: Full TimeSalary: 12.81-18.25Department: 4118.71600 PLANTOperates and maintains equipment such as boilers, air compressors, generators, and refrigeration equipment. Records data (temperatures, hours of operation, fuel consumption, water levels, chemicals, water titration, etc.) reading dials, gauges, and manuals. Performs preventative maintenance of equipment, as required, using hand and power tools, and conducting periodic safety inspections. Follows all applicable regulatory agency policies, guidelines, and codes and Hospital policies and guidelines. Performs all work in accordance with established safety policies and procedures. Performs repairs to HVAC to include filter changes, grease or replace motor or fan wheel bearings as needed. Change drive belts and make proper adjustments as needed. Plumbing repairs to include rebuilding or replacing valve stem assemblies on lavatory faucets, clear drain blockages use of sewer snake or drain cleaning machine. Repair flush valve assemblies on toilets and urinals. Electrical repairs to include trouble shooting circuits with use of voltmeter; replace switches and receptacles with use of lockout tag out measures. May operate a computer, telephone, television and maintenance tools and equipment. All other duties required or assigned by management. Qualifications:High school graduate/GED. Two (2) years vocational school and/or similar trade.NIMS training within (6) months.Other vocational or similar trade licensures preferred.Previous Stationary Engineer experience preferred.
