Senior Solution Engineer

DescriptionCitizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Solution Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.Duties: Responsible for the development, implementation and support of the Finance Data Mart. Performs planning, analysis, detailed design, development, testing, and implementation of program components to ensure economic capital calculations and reports meet business requirements. Collaborates with reporting teams, business lines, source system owners, and other groups to identify required data to develop technical and business process solutions. Supports the production SAS environment, ensuring that monthly and quarterly processes execute efficiently and reliably. Provides month and quarter end production support and provides resolutions. Automates and schedule reoccurring reports.Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Employer will also accept a Master's degree in the same fields and three (3) years of experience in the role or in a related position. Two (2) years of experience must include: Utilizing base SAS, including SAS syntax, keywords, and statements to develop raw code for applications; Utilizing SAS Macros and processor facility to create dynamic routines and flows; Utilizing Proc SQL and SAS Procedures to interact with SAS datasets, and to query and perform complex joins to support reporting, aggregating, debugging, and analysis; Utilizing DB2 to source data for processes, applications, and downstream users; Utilizing AIX UNIX platform as SAS grid and to house SAS and critical datasets, use of UNIX commands and terminologies to interact with platform and file systems; Utilizing the Korn shell scripting language to code program wrappers or scripts for UNIX AIX environment; Utilizing VI editor within UNIX to develop UNIX scripts; Utilizing Putty and Winscp to perform secure copies between different machines; Utilizing TIBCO mailbox to transmit data to downstream applications and users and ensure enterprise encryption during flight; and Utilizing Scheduler CA7 to schedule and automate jobs and scripts.May telecommute from any U.S. location.Direct applicants only.Some job boards have started using jobseeker-reported data to estimate salary ranges for roles.
